About Us

POSSIBLE is a specialist strategy and leadership firm helping organisations find their strategy for success in an improving world. Our clients are global leaders of organisations working on the biggest opportunities of our time.

At the core of work is our unique process which we have developed and refined over the last 23 years, working across multiple scales and contexts in business, government and the social sector.

This proprietary process enables leaders to harness diverse viewpoints, build a shared perspective and align their team around a clear strategy for success, meaning teams emerge with commitment to their direction and the knowledge required to act. It all starts with five steps.

Examples of our work

  • Working with an Executive Director of a rapidly growing global firm over a series of sessions, we reviewed, co-developed and refined a succinct articulation of this highly ambitious asset developer's business strategy across four dimensions of goals, scope, value proposition and capabilities to gain sign-off on implementation from the CEO and Board.

  • Working with a team of 14 people, including the ExCo, Chairman, CIO and a range of other senior stakeholders, we assisted the CIO of a high-profile investments firm to share, seek input, and ultimately gain buy-in to a structured and disciplined investment management framework.

  • A privately owned real asset manager in a high-growth market saw a multitude of opportunities and knew it would have to be judicious in its choices. Over a four-week process, we helped the firm prepare for and bring together its directors and key executives in an intensive, one-day workshop to lift its ambition, agree its target segments and map out its execution plan for the next 12 months.

  • A fast-growing B2B business invited us to assist it to develop a clear definition of its key client segments, and then revise and map its value propositions to those segments. We used an interactive, workshop-based process, based on Ostervelder's 'Value Proposition Canvas' to help create the clarity the firm needed to optimise its sales and procurement process for this highly volatile, rapidly developing commodity market.

  • Working with a privately owned portfolio of companies, we facilitated a two-day workshop to identify a common & agreed strategic narrative linking these high impact ventures across real assets, technology and asset management, and create a succinct statement to describe their collective identity including who they are, what they do and why they do it, to form the basis of a national communications campaign.

  • A global professional services firm with offices in Australia, the UK and USA invited us to design and facilitate a detailed multi source / 360 degree feedback process for its elite cohort of legal, investment and advisory partners. Over an 8-week process, we leveraged our proprietary model, to co-design, build and execute a repeatable feedback process that identified individual and collective strengths and areas for improvement, along with individual development plans for the firm’s top leaders.

  • Our client sought assistance to conduct a detailed Board performance review, providing an opportunity for directors to submit self and peer evaluation of their individual and collective performance against a set of key benchmarks. The results provided important insight for individuals on their perceived performance and generated significant commitment to upskilling in key improvement areas.

  • A firm with an existing ten-year track record, and an ambitious growth plan, saw an opportunity to refresh the values that guide its decision-making as it enters this new phase of development. We worked with directors, executives and staff to create a more detailed, meaningful and relevant set of values to put at the core of the business’ strategic decision-making and guide the team for both purpose and profit.

  • In the depths of global lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic, we design and facilitated a series of six, two-hour, online, highly interactive workshops for this global organisation’s 120 employees spread from Zurich to Chicago, and Sydney to Sao Paulo. The sessions covered strategy, value, proposition design, and learning & development, and incorporated a celebration of the company’s successful growth journey to date, becoming a highly effective opportunity for many team members who had never met to get to know each other, build rapport and develop new connections.

  • Vision, Purpose, Mission, Values. Can you say what they mean?

Can you say what these four words mean? Would your colleagues define them the same way? If you were to draft a statement for each of them, how would you go about it? Would your colleagues agree? Would the answers describe, succinctly, what your organisation stands for?
